QA Manager at Vic.ai
Location: Remote and New York City
This is a fully remote position, full-time, with flexible working hours and work arrangements.

Management Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing team of manual, automated and load testing engineers
- Interviewing, hiring and onboarding of new team members
- Performance evaluations
- Mentoring team members
- Coordinating with Release Management to ensure resource availability for product testing
- Ensuring that issues are tracked in Jira
Technical Responsibilities
- Ensuring that well thought out testing plans are developed from acceptance criteria
- Facilitating the migration from 90% manual testing to 90% automated testing
- Leading the efforts to create a load testing environment to ensure proper scalability
- Integrate automated testing with CI pipeline
- Providing key performance metrics to senior management around defects
- Work with frontend developers, backend developers and ML developers
Skills
- Knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice
- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
- Proficiency with an automated testing framework like Puppeteer
- Proficiency with a load testing framework like JMeter
- Clear and articulate written communication skills
- Strong leaderships skill that put people first
- Strong verbal communication in English
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in QA related management positions
- Professional certification or Bachelors degree
