Position: DevOps Engineer Intern (REMOTE)

Position Overview
Join our fast-growing team! You will help support our team as we build a robust data engine to build business-critical, scalable, and robust data pipelines and intuitive data products that power data discovery and analysis. You will help support build Vee’s data capability and data strategy.
As a Dev Ops Engineer,
- Support the provisioning and operations of Vee's AWS Cloud storage and compute, orchestrations, and services in Production, Development, and Test
- Help manage IAM: accounts, roles and policies, and Research the implementation of PAM
- Develop CloudFormation templates
- Support cybersecurity and data privacy including robust implementation of VPCs, VPC Endpoints, Bucket Policies, Server-Side Encryption (SSE).
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD
Core Experience & Requirements
- Software Engineering experience with high proficiency in Python
- Experience with some or all the following AWS products: S3, Redshift, Lambda, API GateWay, Code Pipeline
- Proficient SQL skills
- Experience automating cloud native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using CloudFormation
- Experience developing cloud native CI/CD workflows and tools, such as Code Deploy (AWS) and/or GitLab.
- Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, and/or serverless technology.
Preferred Experience
- Interest in and experience with DevSecOps
- Interest in and/or experience with MLOps
- Code management in GitHub
