Responsibilities
Define, implement, and champion key data initiatives for Upgrade’s internal and external data users
Manage and prioritize Business Intelligence and Data Engineering roadmaps serving the entire org
Collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the business to understand data needs and issues
Lead a team of engineers in building an effective, efficient and scalable data and reporting layer/infrastructure for the org
Analyze the impact of data features and define key metrics for success
Requirements
3+ years of data product management or 5+ years of Analytics/Engineering experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Fluency with SQL, product development tools, and reporting and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to distill data requirements from multiple stakeholders across multiple products and articulate them in simple ways
Highly analytical and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Plus
Expertise in Financial Services with consumer banking/payments Fintech preferred.
Experience with Redshift and/or Snowflake
