As a Product Manager you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and managing the development process for one or more home furnishing product segment(s) that promote better rest and sleep. You’ll be the expert for every product/project you touch while owning timelines and major milestones for seamless execution from concept to launch. The ideal candidate will be a curious problem solver with a natural inclination for project management and communication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Partner with Category Management to identify problems to solve and define meaningful opportunities within the Home/Wellness space to support our mission and business objectives
Create clear product briefs to drive design concepts that solve meaningful customer problems while addressing market/customer opportunities
Act as primary owner of project calendars and COGS sheets while coordinating completion of all technical design documentation (BOM, CADs, tech packs, etc.) to ensure product documents are properly stored and tracked
Own vendor relationships and manage costing, quoting and sampling process with domestic and overseas suppliers
Operate as the product expert on owned products/categories; able to recite products specs, details, competitor product information, etc.
Support Category Management with information/deliverables needed to align Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain and CX teams for seamless customer experience
Create and present product trainings with the greater team ahead of product launches
Travel to oversee product development, attend conferences, and vet suppliers as needed
Drive continuous improvement related to product development, launch and management
Manage multiple product timelines and proactively manage workflow to deliver on seasonal assortment plans, meet key development milestones and achieve financial targets

Qualifications

5+ years working in product management, project management, sourcing or other relevant product development role
Experience multi-tasking and leading multiple projects at a time
Strong verbal, written, and visual communications skills
Proficient with Keynote/Powerpoint, Google Suite, MS Office, and Dropbox
Experience working with home furnishings, sleep, wellness or related industries
Aptitude for working on a team as well as independently
Strong verbal, written, and visual communications skills
Demonstrates knowledge of current market, design and technology trends
Impeccable taste and eye for design
Must be able to travel 25-50%
