DevOps Team Lead

Job Description

Role Summary:

• Leading a global team that is responsible for operations of production CI/CD, provide

DevOps services for delivery development Teams.

• Own and build process to establish fully automated CI/CD process, dev-to-production

pipelines for the rollout of Harman OTA platform.

• Manage the team day to day tasks and projects, prioritize tasks, inspect delivery and

coordinate the activity with other teams.

• Ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of our development environments.

• Continuously improve the process through automation and the creation of tools.

• Build and maintain Docker container cluster managed by Kubernetes.

• Be involved in architecture analysis and design.

• Collaborate closely with delivery CloudOps team

• Collaborate closely with the R&D DevOps team

• Develop and document workflow methodologies and processes

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1+ years of team leading experience.

• 3+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering.

• Exprinace as a java Developer – big advantage.

• Proven experience in supporting development environments in global organizations.

• Proven hand- on Experience in dockers and Kubernetes, Helm Chart.

• Strong scripting skills (Bash / Python / Perl).

• Experience and strong knowledge of Linux.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining existing CI/CD pipelines for development and

production.

• Comprehensive Knowledge in CI/CD and tools (Prefered Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory)

• Experience with configuration management tools (such as Ansible, Puppet)

• Experience with ALM tools – advantage

• knowledge of AWS/Azure Cloud services.

Experience with (BlackDuck, Sonar ) - advantage

• Experience with Iac (such Terraform) - advantage

• understating of the software development lifecycle - advantage

• Experience in microservices architecture – advantage

• Experience in Java/Groovy programming & Knowledge in Maven – advantage

• Proactive and open-minded

• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Must be flexible, innovative, and self-motivated

• Very good communicational skills

• Good interpersonal communication and written skills in English

• Willing to travel on a Quarterly base
