The Role:
This exciting position is part of Better Examinations’ Client Support team, supporting our higher education clients around the World on our exam management platform. You will be responsible for assisting our clients with issues they may encounter with our exam software via Intercom. You will be working with prestigious clients to solve challenging technical problems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. We are currently building our Support team and are looking for an intuitive person to help us expand this team further in future. Now is a great time to join us as we welcome more and more clients onto our platforms.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provisioning of cloud sandbox environments for potential clients
- Diagnosing software issues on our exam management platform
- Building a documentation base for future support engineers
- Ensuring that best practice security standards are adhered to at all times
- Consult on technical solutions for a variety of client requirements
- Managing automatic responses on Intercom
- Using Jira to track & manage system bugs for clients
- Producing internal client service-related reports and documentation
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous technical support experience
- Previous experience working with Amazon Web Services is a distinct advantage
- Ability to write professional documentation
- Exposure to a chat system, such as Intercom, in use of supporting clients
- You should be familiar with the configuration and ongoing maintenance of:
- DynamoDB / NoSQL
- Atlassian Jira
- AWS Cloudformation & Lambda
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Communicate fluently and clearly in the English language, spoken and written
- Comfortable leading calls with clients’ in-house support teams
- Flexibility to work outside of standard working hours when required
- Full eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland
