Full job description
Project superintendent; utility-scale solar (nationwide projects)
Please note: you must have experience working on utility-scale solar construction (10mw+)
The solar utility-scale superintendent is responsible for the installation and implementation of large utility-scale projects across the us.
Oversee mechanical, electrical & civil scopes of work.
Work alongside project managers to ensure the delivery of utility-scale solar projects.
Monitor and drive job costing, quality reporting, forecasting and productivity
Oversee all construction activity onsite
Drive down installation costs and improve efficiency
Ensure that the construction targets are inline with the budget
Implement construction technique & plans to ensure the schedule is met on time.
Ensuring that the quality of construction remains at the highest level.
Verifiable track record for managing a successful “injury free” safety program
Responsible for ensuring that all foremen & team are briefed on safety.
Completing field administration: timesheets, quantity reports, purchases and the job diaries
Implement process and programs to promote safety culture
Supervising and mentoring field personnel (30+ electricians) as well as managing any potential subcontractors.
Electrical ca journeyman license required
10+ years construction experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership position
3+ years experience in solar
Verifiable leadership qualities
Proven track record in managing a safe, productive site.
