If you live and breathe performance marketing, we want to talk to you! We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Performance Marketing who can develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all paid digital channels: SEM, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic. You will work closely with our Head of Growth & Marketing to execute digital marketing strategies, paid campaigns and develop the highest quality marketing assets to capture audiences on both sides of our marketplace.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute the vision and strategy for the Digital Marketing roadmap through SEM/Paid Social initiatives.
- Plan, design, and execute paid social (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc) campaigns from execution to post-mortem analysis.
- Manage all campaign traffic, campaign launch, optimizations, reporting, and analysis across paid search and paid social platforms.
- Develop robust A/B and multivariate testing programs to optimize ad copy & landing page performance.
- Maintain strong knowledge of SEM marketing, our target customer, digital marketing, and competitive trends.
- Become the expert on the how, when, and why of what makes our customers tick
- Implement best practices, keyword mine, stay on top of negative keywords, manage other SEM settings, and leverage/explore additional resources, releases, and betas as necessary.
- Partner with our Copywriter and Creative Director to establish an effective brand voice that differentiates Sweeten as a design and construction expert personality in a crowded advertising landscape.
- Curate ad calendars and schedule regular refreshes to prevent stagnation or oversaturation.
- Create detailed creative briefs, with performance data and insights, to help educate the Creative team on what is working/not working and iterate rapidly.
- Work closely with Sweeten’s blog editor and Sr Manager of SEO Strategy to enhance and amplify the onsite content strategy. Support new-market research, launch events, and collaboration with our Growth team.
- Collaborate with Sr. Manager of Organic Social to share insights, amplify social posts and develop creative ads to drive conversions

- You know how to drive engagement and productivity from the platforms you manage. You know that paid channels can drive both brand awareness and convertible leads and understand how to balance the two objectives.
- You are a master at managing multiple platforms with strong attention to detail.
- You view performance marketing as both an art and a science, internalizing data but also keying in on how ads make people feel about our brand and drive positive engagement.

REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. in marketing or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in lead generation and digital marketing, specifically paid channels.
- Experience devising and managing effective SEM, paid social media, and display advertising campaigns, tapping into latest advances.
- Expertise in native advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Adroll, Facebook Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads, and any other emerging advertising platforms relevant to our business.
- Experience optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Familiarity with Looker is a plus.
- Working knowledge of HTML.
- Collaborative spirit; ability to communicate technical elements in a clear way.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Interest in the design or renovation field is a bonus!
- Ability to align to East Coast hours (at least 3 hours of overlap)
