Your new team
The Momentive.ai Market Research platform helps businesses understand market needs, industry trends, and buyer feedback. We have agile engineering, product, and design teams dedicated to enhancing our offerings in this quickly evolving space.
We're a high-growth team that is pushing the boundaries of innovation for quantitative online survey data building automated solutions for some of our most valuable customers. We're competing head to head with incumbents (Qualtrics) and new brands (Zappi, Quantilope), so you can expect an agile environment.
The Market Research Demand engineering team is responsible for building and growing the buyer experience within the platform. We use data to guide our product development, with a heavy emphasis on using A/B testing as a tool for iterative development as we build new solutions and improve our existing products.
Your new role
- Be involved in all stages of our agile software development process from planning through to deployment
- Create the automation tests for our services
- Report to the Market Research Demand engineering manager but also engage with the wider QA team within Momentive to enhance our test automation frameworks
- Manage the integration of automated and manual testing into our release process
- Use Jira to report issues and verify their resolution through automated or manual testing
What we're looking for
You are passionate about ensuring quality at all stages of development, from gathering feature requirements to defining test plans, cross-browser testing, filing bugs, and releasing our webapps to production. You know that automated testing is the best way to maintain quality, but are also interested in manual testing as an important part of the QA process.
You'll work closely with developers, other QA, design, and product management as part of an agile team. You want to help drive excellence in testing throughout engineering at Momentive through peer review and continuous training.
Your skills and experience
- 3+ years of QA experience
- Experience maintaining automated tests in JavaScript-based frameworks, (WebdriverIO, TestCafe, Protractor, or other)
- Experience verifying RESTful API services through code-based testing
- Experience with Git or another VCS
- Experience with case management tools like TestRail and Jira
