This role is reporting to one of our most talented Video Strategists. You will train directly with him to produce converting ads that catch the eye and sell products. This Video strategist has produced millions in revenue through viral ads. This opportunity is highly coveted because our Video Strategists are super talented and willing to teach you every skill you need. Before you keep reading, it's important to highlight the type of work we do. When you think of social media ads, you think of branding type videos like coca-cola, but that is not the direct-response editing we are looking for.

What you will do

Other than being an editing god, you will also be exercising a few skills such as:

• Create 15-:60 sec Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat direct-response ads;
• Animate text, input effects and add music;
• Create ad variations from a shared project file;
• Re-design ads with multiple ratios 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 for specific social media placements;
• Create custom thumbnails;
• Learn all about conversion principles & what makes an ad convert (turns out...it's not luck!);
• Learn all about eCommerce marketing, the ad results & how to apply them;
• Analyze & interpret data;
• Collaborate with other independent contractors in the Video Team.

What we expect

• Have previous experience working with an agency or editing for social media;
• Be able to work with multiple video codecs
• Be fluent in English;
• Be an expert in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premier Pro;
• Meet deadlines reliably;
• Have a creative mind and storytelling skills;
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Have great communication skills;
• Take a lot of initiative & be proactive;
• Be organized & detail-oriented;
• Have a positive attitude;
• Be patient & eager to learn what you don't know (we don't expect you to come knowing everything);
• Be able to piece together an engaging story/ad;
• Have intermediate writing & storyboarding skills;
• Be eager to learn about the ad-making world;
• Experience with Project Management tools such as Asana is a plus.
