About the role

You will closely be working with Kris, our CEO as well as our Director of Marketing Axenia to help with managing our Sugatan social channels and PR. As a marketing agency, we have to keep our OWN marketing game on top! You’ll be taking care of our community, to make sure that we are giving them what they want and keeping them engaged. You already know how important it is to keep people engaged by creating content for Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and LinkedIn - and that’s what you love to do! We’re looking for someone who has lots of ideas, and we offer them a platform to play and test them out, working with a small team who will help with copy, designs and content, your goal will be to make sure it reaches the right audience.

Sometimes you’ll be in charge of making small edits, such as stitching together a podcast, other times you’ll be making sure the comment section isn’t getting spammed by bots - every day is different.

This is a fully remote position, so you can be from anywhere in the world!

What you will do:

If you join us you will be doing a vast range of activities that will require you to be super organised, super focus & results driven, for example:

• Taking care of the podcast - researching interviewees, scheduling, editing them and getting them ready to post
• Looking for PR opportunities such as conferences like Ad World
• Taking care of our social media channels and Private FB group, and communicating with our audience
• Create deck presentations & organize information
• Monitor and provide reporting of data about the social media channels
• Staying up to date with social media trends
• Communicate with team members & clients
• Coordinating schedules for meetings between multiple team members

What we expect:

• Have minimum 1 year experience in the eCommerce or digital marketing industry
• Have knowledge of marketing (whether that’s practical or educational)
• Have some experience with video editing
• Be very organized (it needs to be second nature to you)
• Be an excellent communicator and people person
• Take ownership of projects & use common sense to make good decisions;
• Be reliable & trustworthy
• Have an interest in data and research
• Be able to handle constructive criticism & welcome it, as well as being able to provide feedback to peers
• Fluent in English
