The Franchise Suite team in Square is mandated with creating a holistic solution to help enterprise / franchise Square sellers centrally manage their organization including features like central reporting, central menu management as well as providing a unified experience for their guests including an fully customizable enterprise grade white labeled web and app online ordering experience including frictionless shared loyalty and gift card experience.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the Automation strategy in the Franchise Suite team, based in Moldova.
You will:
Be responsible for creating and setting up the automation testing project, infrastructure and workflows within the team.
Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as product management, design, and engineering teams to learn the different product areas, define the best automation testing architecture
Work with the QA engineers within the team to update existing test cases to automation tests and implement automation tests for new features.
BS or BA degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience leading and implementing large automation testing projects
5+ years of general QA technical experience
3+ years of experience in relevant automation testing for business facing dashboards and end user facing sites
Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development environment
Experience creating clear and concise test suites
Liaison with Product teams, Engineering teams, and QA teams
Advantage - Experience in Native App automation testing frameworks such as Espresso, XCUITest
Advantage - Experience in code/scripting languages such as Swift or Java or Python, or Ruby
Advantage - Experience working with CI systems (Jenkins etc.)
Advantage - A record of supervising work across multiple product teams
