Freelance Copywriter & Proofreader - Norwegian Market

Spotzer is a fast paced, rapidly growing, global digital marketing business. Headquartered in Amsterdam, we are serving tens of thousands of small businesses across the world by building their websites, launching their paid search campaigns and creating power content.

We are looking for a Native Norwegian Freelance Copywriter & Proofreader, who can work remotely and help us deliver insightful, creative copy to our business clients. You will be communicating with our Content Manager who works from our office in Amsterdam. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of drafting engaging copy and writing high quality content to achieve client marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production managers and content managers to develop engaging and compelling copy/content to achieve client goals.

• Craft stories and content that drive people to action; draft messaging and copy within the brand’s voice.

• Edit and proofread the copy, to make sure we deliver error-free content to our clients.

• QA copy to ensure it meets Spotzer and SEO requirements.

Preferred Qualifications And Experience

• Strong understanding of advertising and marketing principles

• Excellent editing, proofreading and writing Norwegian skills and attention to detail

• A degree or diploma in languages, journalism, communications, marketing or any other related field

• 1 - 3 years experience writing as a freelancer or working for an advertising or marketing agency (traditional or interactive) preferred

• A keen enthusiasm for and basic understanding of web trends and technologies

• A strong understanding of SEO and SEM concepts

• Native Norwegian speaker

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle different writing demands
