Currently, the leave management process is painful, and inefficient for everyone - company leaders struggle to keep up with regulations and processes that change frequently, and the employees going on leave are overwhelmed by bureaucracy at an exceptionally important juncture in their career. Sparrow transforms this ordinarily tedious, error-prone, complex to remain compliant, and time-consuming process into a 30-minute end-to-end experience saving teams time (20 - 40 hours per leave) and money (up to $30K per leave).

Our company is growing rapidly and we are excited to hire Sales Development Representatives to help with market research, outbound prospecting and appointment setting. We are looking for empathetic, curious, and outgoing individuals that enjoy emailing and talking to prospects and partners. You’ll work with sales professionals and sales leaders selling to HR professionals while collaborating cross-functionally. Here’s what you’ll do:

Partner with Sales Leadership, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing on the design and execution of an overall sales GTM and to work closely with Account Executives for a smooth handoff of qualified meetings.
Research ideal customer profiles that require cold outreach to identify new sales opportunities. Leverage social media and smart prospecting strategies to track activity metrics (calls, personalized emails) to gain feedback.
Leverage the best sales tech stack that includes Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, LinkedIn Navigator, Chili Piper, and more to create/test scripts to optimize our Outreach sequences to increase conversion rates.
Assist with sales strategies, campaigns, events, partnership channels, and marketing initiatives.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

A top performer. 2+ years of sales or work experience as a go-getter with a strong attention to detail that stays organized to ensure timely follow-up and follow-through.
Learner’s mindset. Highly self-directed, adaptable, and up for feedback and implementation in a fast-paced, always changing environment that has high-performance expectations while working collaboratively.
Product-obsessed. Leave management is complicated, meaning that often, our customers have gaps in their understanding. Therefore, it is essential that you can articulate our value proposition through different channels of communication such as phone calls, email, social media touches, direct mail, and video messaging.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Clear, empathetic communicator that can build rapport cross-functionally and relate to sales professionals. You are great at communicating through email, chat, and phone while displaying active listening skills to complete and maintain appropriate information in Salesforce.
