As a national account manager for sonepar usa’s national accounts division, you will manage and grow an existing customer base in the group purchasing market, commercial market, as well as target and cultivate new customersYour territory will be the central region of the united statesThis role requires advanced selling skills including strategic planning, upper management selling, high level negotiating, and internal selling and leadership.
This is a remote position and can be located in any city with a major airport in the central region of the united states.
Key accountabilities
Develop and implement strategies to grow sales with existing gpo customers in the central region of the usThis is the primary responsibility for the role.
Negotiate and attain profitable agreements that meet sonepar usa guidelines.
Develop, meet, and exceed, forecasts, commitments, and customer expectations.
Secure new customers that meet overall company strategies and requirements.
Effectively collaborate with sonepar operating companies and lead successful implementation of sonepar key account commitments.
Deliver effective sales presentations to key prospects.
Qualifications
3-5 years related electrical distribution industry or national related experience
Experience in dealing with gpo’s is a benefit
Proven advanced sales skills
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Must be goal oriented and very organized.
Strong computer skills required, including microsoft, excel, word, creation of powerpoints and understanding of utilizing data into your business discussions.
Must have a sense of urgency and able to work under tight deadlines
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
