Software Quality Assurance Automation Analyst III

Job Summary:

The QA Automation Analyst III will be responsible for developing information systems by designing, developing, and installing automation solutions that facilitate test efforts for the QA team. The QA Automation Analyst will be responsible for building and maintaining an automation framework, while training and supporting QA’s to create Automation scripts. This role requires a strong attention to detail and excellent research capability. This role will have significant responsibility in working closely with marketing, workforce, sales, and various other departments throughout the company.

Essential Functions:

• Establish reporting metrics to determine effectiveness of test cases and ROI
• Research and promote best practices and new framework solutions
• Research the latest technologies and Quality Assurance trends
• Partner with DevOps to implement and enhance CI/CD solutions
• Design and Develop performance, stress and load tests
• Work with Quality Assurance Manager to implement roadmap for automation
• Document processes, procedures and training materials for the QA team
• Mentor team members with training, support, and knowledge base articles
• Share knowledge via activities like Lunch-n-Learns, blogs, discussions, courses, etc.
• Identify training opportunities to cross train the manual QA team
• Actively communicate technical information outward with stakeholders and vendors
• Identifies and encourages consistency across teams based on inter-team dependencies

Training & Experience:

• 5-8 years experience in Test Automation
• Experience using source code tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Postman, etc.
• Experience creating complex SQL statements
• Experience writing SQL, Java, Javascript, Node.js, etc.
• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, WebDriverIO, TestCafe, UFT, Puppeteer or other automation technologies
• Administer automation framework, implementing new features for scalability
• Experience supporting and building into CI/CD processes
• Experience maintaining documentation on automation features and updates
• Strong organization skills and attention to details
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field (or equivalent work experience)
