About This Opportunity
You will be joining our Global Alliance team reporting to the VP, Marketplace Business Development. Our team works independently and as a cohesive unit to create the highest value for our customers, increased leverage for the sales organization, and influence and further the strategic goals of the company. Our team ideates, executes and drives partnerships with a diverse set of partners spanning technology partners, Cloud Service Providers, Global Systems Integrators, Managed Service Providers, corporate rating services, cyber-insurance underwriters, Telcos and security focused consortiums and interest groups (eg ISACs). Our ideal candidate is a driven, solution-focused, self-starter that has a diverse skill set and a hunger to learn new technologies and business models.
What you will do
SecurityScorecard launched Marketplace with the goal of enhancing and differentiating our Product’s value to Customers, while furthering our reach within our TAM. Your goal in this role is to expand the Marketplace and the value it creates for Customers, Partners and Prospect. This is a hybrid hunting and farming role where you will support a variety of different partner types that include, but are not limited to, TAP, Data, OEM, Services and Cyber Insurance. Partner participation will vary by partner, and can include having a listing, building and maintain an integration with our platform, integrating data directly into our platform or distributing our License to Customers.
From a hunting standpoint, you will be tasked with identifying, qualifying, closing and onboarding new Marketplace Partners that align with our Marketplace strategy, are relevant or tangential to our product and use-cases, further SecurityScorecard’s credibility in the eyes of the market, and have Customers that are similar in profile (spend, size, vertical, use-case, maturity etc) to the SecurityScorecard Customer base. From a farming standpoint, you will own the relationship with partners that fall within certain segments and or cohorts (eg. GRC Integration Partners) and are responsible for creating and managing relationships with key stakeholders, creating and executing a cross-discipline + cross-organization GTM (partner collateral, webinars and thought leadership, field events, integrations, strategic commercial initiatives), measuring and communicating success and growing the overall relationship
This is an exciting role within the SecurityScorecard Alliances team that requires a high degree of energy, flexibility, focus and drive. The right candidate will have an opportunity to have a quantifiable and meaningful impact on Marketplace which is, and will continue to be, a top three strategic initiative for the company.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-5 years working in either Alliances, Business Development or Strategic Selling roles at technology companies, preferably within the cybersecurity space
- Demonstrated success in identifying, qualifying and executing partnerships, and in growing and managing partnerships
- Marketplace experience is a bonus
- Minimum 3 years of experience with B2B SAAS, MSSP, or CSPs

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong presentation skills
- Experience with channel sales model, and working with Alliance or VAR partners
- Bachelor’s Degree.
