Brew | Back‑End Engineer (Python)

We build AI data-driven tools for enterprises to enable a zero-day go-to-market, with the ability to identify evolving market threats and opportunities and instantly understand which channels and actions would have the highest impact on their growth and revenue.

With our database of millions of marketing activities, both online and offline, we use graph algorithms, statistical analysis and other algorithmic approaches to track the market, identify changes quickly and suggest insights to adapt and react.

• Be a part of highly experienced software engineers and take on the challenges of all things back-end. Learn from experienced developers and improve your skills.
• Implement computational models to categorize, classify and create benchmarks for each customer relevant market and activities.
• Build performant APIs used by the client-side.
• Collaborate with related departments – product, architecture, and leadership – to move the business forward by building a winning product. Be part of the conversation from design to implementation.

As we are a small team, everyone does everything, which means that you can go from devops to data to backend to frontend in one week (we call this “wholestack” as this better represents what we do than “fullstack”).

• 4-8+ years experience with Python.
• 4+ years experience back-end development, building real-world applications, using modern languages and technologies.
• Experience in developing and understanding complex software.
• Team-player and good communication skills. Charging the field together to deliver quickly without compromising on quality.
• Ability to learn new technologies, willing to always change and adapt without taking current-state for granted.
• Willing to teach.

Big plus if you have experience with:

• Linux, Ubuntu
