About the Role
As the Technical Product Manager for the Track team, you will be responsible for building cutting edge tracking products with our core track technical teams. You will work to optimize and build upon Route’s advanced tracking technology to provide users with the world’s best tracking experience. You will work closely with our carrier integrations and partnerships teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful app tracking experience, while helping Route users track everything they order in one place.
We’re building Route to be the world’s best tracking app, and it will be your job to deliver the strategy and execution to provide true and timely tracking information from merchants across the web. This role reports to the Head of Track, and will be part of a growing team of product owners responsible for the entire Track experience. Additionally, this role will work closely with engineering leaders, sales executives, and marketing managers to ensure we are delivering what matters most.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for technical product management: will lead a team(s) of backend engineers to prioritize efforts to make our email-parsed tracking products best in class while delivering the best user experience
- Partner with data analysts to define and report on success metrics
- Solicit and respond to customer feedback in order to identify areas of improvement
- Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
- Bonus: Ability to advise on engineering strategy and implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM field, or equivalent work experience in software development or technical product management
- Minimum of 7 years of product management or product design experience at an e-commerce or internet software company
- Minimum of 7 years experience driving cross-functional collaboration between product, engineering, sales, and customer success
- Stellar business acumen, communication skills, and presentation experience
- Experience managing a cross-functional team
- Proven organizational and analytical experience
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically
- Experience with online A/B testing to drive improvement in user experience and business results
- Track record of utilizing web analytics and data analysis to aid business decisions
- Passionate about customer centricity and voice of the customer programs
- Validated experience in embracing product management standard methodologies and policies
