Sitecore Engineer (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled Sitecore Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in Sitecore frontend development, as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C# with the .NET framework for backend development.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Sitecore Experience Platform (Sitecore XP).
• Configure and optimize the Sitecore CMS to meet project requirements, including setting up templates, layouts, and components.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
• Create custom Sitecore modules, components, and extensions to extend the platform's functionality
• Implement best practices for Sitecore development, including personalization and marketing automation.
• Develop and maintain C# .NET backend applications.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
• Utilize your experience with enterprise Database Management System (DBMS) solutions to optimize data storage and retrieval within Sitecore.
• Proficiency in SQL to handle data operations and queries efficiently within the Sitecore environment.
• Understanding of cloud architecture for enterprise web applications, ensuring scalability and reliability of Sitecore-based solutions.
• Work closely with Business Analysts to support defect fixes and enhancements, ensuring the smooth functioning of web applications.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience working with Sitecore, with a strong familiarity of Sitecore 9.x
• Strong proficiency in Sitecore frontend development, Sitecore Experience Platform (Sitecore XP).
• Experience in debugging Sitecore issues and code optimization
• Good knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and MVC
• Strong understanding of HTML/CSS/Javascript and responsive web design principles
• Experience in working with TDS or similar Sitecore development methodologies
• Experience with enterprise DBMS solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Understanding of cloud architecture for enterprise web applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in English
