ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to the company growth, we are looking for an exceptionally driven individual to join us as an Learning Experience Design Manager. This is a great opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in a fast growing organisation that is data driven.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Manage a team of learning experience designers
• Lead and implement innovative initiatives that deliver learner centric change
• Understand the business strategy and enable your team to support the business strategy through design and development of effective learning solutions, that enable company talent to develop business-critical skills for today and tomorrow
• Guide your team in using quantitative and qualitative data to define the problems, that can be addressed through learning, and create hypotheses to be tested
•Design new learning experience concepts, create prototypes based on these concepts, experiment and iterate based on the experiments outcomes
• Design, develop & deliver innovative & impactful learning content that supports business strategy & addresses current and future learning needs.
• Create a variety of gold-standard learning assets, including lesson plans, course curriculums, videos, storyboards, scripts, etc.
• Create and refine learning quality standards; ensure the highest quality of the learning soluti•ons
• Establish learning success metrics and incorporate them into all the designs
• Partner with Global Learning Program Managers, Learning Business Partners and other stakeholders to understand the learning needs of organization
• Assess feasibility and benefits of learning solutions for prioritizing commercially and culturally viable ideas that best address our learner needs
• Embody our brand and tone of voice in all the content you create
• Full ownership for cutting edge learning methodology, experimentation & learning experience design
• Curate relevant and engaging learning content
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in instructional design, learning technology and/or user experience
• People leadership skills in hiring and developing talent
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels (from junior to senior)
• Extensive experience with authoring tools, such as Articulate 360, Lectora, or similar
• Experience in live and live virtual classroom design, leveraging technology to enhance the experience
• Experience in designing and developing blended learning solutions including curating content
• Advanced Multimedia development in audio, video, and/or animation (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Experience with emerging trends for content creation (e.g. gamification, virtual reality, augmented reality and xAPI)
• An aptitude for using digital platforms, with an understanding of how these are used to communicate different messages
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn complex information into accessible, user-centered content written in plain English
•Demonstrable experience of gathering and applying user research and feedback, to design and iterate content based on the acquired insight
• Human-centered mindset, demonstrating empathy for the learner
• Project management skills including, planning work, prioritization, managing details,keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, working with stakeholders, and doing whatever it takes to deliver reliable results
• You love to ideate, innovate and challenge - constantly finding new and creative ways to engage learners
• The ability to build great relationships with different people from across the organisation and be confident in communicating with stakeholders of all levels
• Experience working in an agile environment to deliver content at pace
