The role
The successful candidate is expected to evaluate, implement and perform end to end test execution by manual and automated testing toolsIn addition, you will be the face of quest to your customersListen to customer’s problems, and build on the experiences you have personally had, then develop innovative ways to solve their engineering problems.

Job functions
Perform test execution of user stories within sprints and larger software releases to help validate that bug fixes and new features are adequately tested with customer-provided test procedure templateTest types include functionality, regression, defect retesting, customization testing, scenario testing.
Execute test procedures and provide for each release a test report or update in the defect reporting tool, in a customer provided format, detailing:
O tests conducted, with pass/fail status
O issues and exceptions encountered, with details of steps to reproduce
O any changes needed to test procedures.
Develop updated test procedures.
Perform software release tests as follows:
O execute testing of all test cases in a test environment within each sprint.
O execute official software release testing of configuration management released label
O perform operational simulation testing
O execute regression tests
O support retesting of for any software rebuilds (should they occur)
Participate in sprints and software releases following a provided project schedule.
Provide attendance at team meetings, investigate system problems to assure timely release of software to the production system
Tests to be executed on customer provided test environments, in the customer test facility in melbourne fl.
Interact with internal and external customers and ensures satisfactory deliverables
Design and develop reusable and maintainable automated regression test scripts
Run formal regression using automated scripts for applications and analyze test findings
Qualifications

Bs in any engineering degree
2 – 3 years of experience in manual and automation testing
Proficiency in agile development/iterative development methodology (scrum) highly desired.
Proficiency in test automation design and implementation preferred.
Knowledge of alm is needed
Familiarity with rail domain is advantageous
Strong communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Like to work in a fast-paced, creative environment
Knowledge in the test automation of web/ standalone applications
