Job overview:
Work with the metrics team to develop key analytics tools, data models, and build out feature extraction and feature engineering tools within our data platform.
You will support the analytics team, building out the underlying models and queries to support a wide variety of tools for analyzing the health of the business, and support testing hypothesis
Experiment and deliver tools to begin providing predictive analytics about core product, marketing, and monetization efforts
What you`ll do
You`ll be responsible for making sure the data gets where it needs to go at the right time and in the right format
You`ll help define what `the right time and the right format` means
You`ll tend to the plex metrics pipeline to ensure that it stays online and performant
You`ll ensure that everybody gets access to the data they needWhether that is integrating with martech partners or getting analysts the kpis they want to report on
What you bring to the table
3-5 years of experience
Looker or other analytics and reporting tools
Big query or other larger data-lake and warehousing toolsStrong sql skills in particular.
Some experience with machine learning and data engineering tools, like numpy, tensor flow, sagemaker, etc
Experience with apache beam or similar data processing pipelines
Engineering experience with an object-oriented programming language
You know of and have used orchestration tools such as apache airflow
You are kind, humble, helpful and get stuff done
You are versatile: no problem is outside your grasp given a some time to learn what is needed
You are self motivated and able to manage your time, working with a distributed team across the globe
You believe in asking for help and helping others when they ask, never throwing a problem over the wall
You are hungry to have an impact, continuously working to improve our product, process and push the team to be it`s best

Plex hires new team members in countries around the world.
