Data Scientist (f/m/d)

• Transform sustainability evaluation into data-driven challenges that enable companies to estimate and to offset their greenhouse gas emissions and save the world from the climate crisis!
• Proactively identify datasets and uncover relationships within the footprint estimation process which can be enriched with data science.
• Develop and own machine learning models which increase calculation accuracy and improve internal understanding.
• Work with other engineers and disciplines to come up with solutions to complex problems that are scalable, robust, reliable, and maintainable
• Evangelize a data-first approach within your cross-functional team of domain experts in the fast-paced world of a startup

• You are comfortable working with Python, SQL, and the AWS ecosystem
• You want to get to the bottom of things and are eager to fully understand relationships within the underlying data.
• Ideally, you have experience with integrating your findings into a production-ready environment and have excellent coding and statistical skills.
• You favor action and ownership that you can demonstrate in your CV or cover letter.
• You have a bachelors or masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related/relevant technical field and/or 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or a similar position
• You can read, write, and speak professional English. We have a diverse international team and use English as our working language.
