Our client is a leading provider of web-based performance monitoring, diagnosis, and reporting solutions, is looking for a Vice President of Sales for the Americas. Please see the job description below.

Responsibilities:

• Have overall responsibility for sales in the Americas;
• Establish best practices for the sales organization and enforce their implementation;
• Provide reliable projections and forecasts for management;
• Enhance the direct and channel sales programs in place;
• Establish an indirect sales team to enhance the sales process;
• Recruit, mentor, train and manage the necessary personnel;
• Establish, manage and fine-tune the sales processes focused on different market opportunities;
• Working with the sales people, establish and cultivate relationships with the company's top enterprise accounts and develop up-sell opportunities in these accounts;
• Working with marketing, enhance the company's positioning in the market;
• Identify tactical channel partnership and strategic technology partnerships for the company;
• Continually refine and deliver excellent sales presentations to decision makers;
• Represent the company at industry events;
• Requirements:
• Excellent track record of managing an enterprise sales team;
• Proven ability to close 6 figure deals and manage the sales cycles;
• Experience building and developing a product or services sales organization;
• Experience selling enterprise software is needed. Even better if you have sold virtualization solutions (VMware/Citrix), or monitoring/management solutions (e.g., Network Management, Enterprise Management, Application Management)
• Solid sales training background and proven discipline to establish and track the sales process
