At Niantic Lightship, we’re building the tools that enable developers to create innovative, real-world AR experiences that inspire movement and encourage exploration. To help reach these developers, we’re looking for an organized, inquisitive, and creative Associate Product Marketing Manager.
In this role, you’ll help deliver on our platform product marketing strategy by providing content development and campaign execution support as part of the Lightship Product Marketing team. As an integral member of our small team, your work will touch high-impact projects across our portfolio of products and help lay the foundation of the real-world metaverse. You’ll also work cross-functionally with and have close relationships across Developer Relations, Product, and our broader marketing team.
This is a contractor position and the work should be performed based on service agreement and SOW. Niantic will not offer Contractor direct employment contract, salary, benefits, equities, or any compensation associated with employment

- Develop a strong understanding of our platform, including product functionality, features, target audience, and value proposition.
- Translate marketing campaign goals, source material, and messaging frameworks into high impact collateral and content that enables our overall campaigns.
- Aid in the planning and creation of content for events and webinars, including landing pages, pre-and post-event emails, social promotions, and more.
- Work with the platform marketing team to support and deliver creative, cohesive, and coordinated marketing programs.
- Engage with developers by identifying and producing in-person events that help hit key business objectives.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in marketing, preferably at technology, infrastructure, or platform companies.
- Proven ability to develop and write effective marketing content for use in various channels (email, social media, digital advertising, etc.)
- Familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Hubspot a plus
- Experience with content strategy and marketing for developer events preferred
