Flex Team Member - Fully Remote

MobyMax is creating a new Renaissance Team comprised of talented teachers with the ability to flex between a variety of teams within the company as needed. Like most companies, teams within MobyMax experience ebbs and flows throughout the year. When an exciting new release is being prepped, the QA and development teams need all the help they can get to test features, report bugs, and make sure everything is working flawlessly for users. At the beginning of each school year, the support team needs additional team members to answer the influx of calls and emails and make sure our teachers start the year off smoothly. When we’re building a new product, the curriculum team is eager for additional help creating engaging content that students love.

If you’re comfortable being a “jack of all trades” and moving fluidly between teams as the need arises, this is the role for you. You may work on the QA team one month, the support team the next, and the curriculum team the next. This position is an excellent opportunity to learn a wide variety of skills and gain insight into the inner workings of a rapidly growing edtech company. At the very least, we can guarantee this role will never be boring. :)

If wearing all those hats seems daunting, don’t worry. You’ll receive individual training from each team you work with, and you’ll work alongside veteran team members who will make sure you’re set up to succeed. As long as you’re able to quickly pick up new skills and adapt to new projects, you’ll thrive in this role.

In this role, you might:

• Create K-8 content for math, ELA, science, or social studies
• Answer customer support emails and calls
• Test and triage new features and releases
• Work with new users to help them get started with MobyMax
• Support current users to make sure they’re getting the most out of MobyMax
• Set up pilots for schools that are considering purchasing MobyMax

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or related field
• Must be tech-savvy and able to work independently at a fast pace
• Previous teaching/education experience is highly valued
• Extremely strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly with both students and teachers
• Willingness to quickly adjust to new teams and projects and move between roles as needed
• Ability to quickly master a wide variety of new skills
• Full-time availability (40 hrs/wk)

Compensation:

This position starts at $20/hr and includes a generous benefits package with flexible PTO, health insurance (medical, vision, dental), and 401k with company match.
