This is a full time remote position within the united states.

A bachelor of science degree in software development or software testing, or test automation, and 1 year of demonstrated technical experience in test automation; or an associate`s degree and 5 years of professional experience in software development or software testing and test automation and 1 year of demonstrated technical experience in test automation; or 9 years of professional experience in software development or software testing, or test automation and 1 year of demonstrated technical experience in test automation is required.
Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures from a field of specialization (testing, software development, or data management)Performs workflow analysis and identifies quality improvementMust possess strong analytical thinking skills, excellent documentation skills, an ability to interact with people at all levels and possess skills in coping with ambiguous situationsProject management skills are preferredMust have the ability to direct projects; participate in teams and work independently to make decisions appropriate for the business and technical environmentEvidence of strong communication, presentation, mentoring, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skillsAble to gain an understanding of the applicable systems and business operational practices and procedures as relates to product validationAble to cross-analyze software development documentation (business requirements, function specification, design specification) to ascertain system functionality / featuresExperienced with software development lifecycles as they relate to product verification and validationExperienced with the preparation of testing reports and coordinating project testingExperienced with mentoring test colleagues and project teams on the software test processKnowledge of test management and automation tools[e.g., quality center, qtp, loadrunner, bpt].
Knowledge of relational databasesKnowledge of unix and windows operating systemsKnowledge of one or more programming languages[e.g., c, c++, java]Knowledge of scripting languages, [e.g., vb script, perl, python or tcl]Knowledge of test automation tools[e.g., quality center, qtp, loadrunner, bpt]Knowledge of sdm tools (e.g., ibm rational tools: clearquest, clearcase, requisite pro, build forge)Strong background in productivity software: microsoft word, excel, and powerpoint.
License or certification
Certification and/or training in quality or testing certificationE.g iso service management, cstp, or itil desired.
Required education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extendedThe salary range every 2 weeks is approx$2,739.20-$3,834.40 based on a full-time position.
Hours / pay period
Typical schedule is mon-fri 8am-5pm with occasional off hours work.
Occasional off hours and weekend work is expected.
