What will you own?- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration in the EMEA region.
- Provide strategic direction for the sales team to ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performance sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Recruit, train, and develop sales professionals to drive excellence in customer engagement and revenue generation.
- Market Expansion:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Markforged's footprint in the capital equipment market.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Travel:
- This role requires approximately 75% travel within the EMEA region to meet with clients, attend industry events, and oversee the sales team.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a unified approach to customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Implement robust reporting mechanisms to track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to executive leadership.
- Channel Sales & Direct Sales
- Work very closely with our channel partners/resellers to increase knowledge and grow our network of trusted value-added resellers.
- Manage direct sales and customer relationships directly with the sales team.

What you have:- Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in capital equipment sales. Experience as a VP or executive-level sales leader.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the capital equipment, with experience in the manufacturing or 3D printing industry preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high-performance sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Strategic Thinker: Proven experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
