Technical Writer (Contract)

The Opportunity

The MariaDB Documentation Team produces and maintains enterprise-grade documentation covering the deployment and use of MariaDB products, bridging the user from marketed product information to engineered product experiences.

This is an opportunity for contract work with our Documentation Team.

A successful candidate will be capable of working both independently and collaboratively with a remote multidisciplinary team and have self-discipline, excellent time-management, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Contract projects may include a range of:

• Knowledge development
• Content planning
• Technical writing
• Optimization of existing copy

Qualifications

• One year Linux or one year SQL databases experience
• One year git version control experience
• Three years writing
• Candidate must be a Native English speaker
• Familiarity with MariaDB Platform technologies is a plus

Location

North America or Europe. Position works from home.
