OVERALL PURPOSE
Lulalend is transforming small business lending through technology, data and design. Small business owners are the foundation for growth in our economy, and they deserve an easy and inspiring lending process.
We are looking for a highly motivated Account Manager that will work closely with our Credit and Sales functions to develop a comprehensive approach to acquiring customers. Your work will not only encourage small business owners to apply for funding but ensure we attract strong applications to ensure high conversion of approvals.
- Providing exceptional, professional and friendly service to our customers
- Meet and exceed existing business monthly targets
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations through proactive and innovative manner
- Understand the lending platform and lending products in their entirety with a comprehensive understanding of re-advances
- Daily management of re-advance applications and quotation conversions
- Perform first phase application affordability assessments
- Take ownership of your customer's issues or needs to ensure that all aspects are resolved and/or seen through to completion
- Use ideas and solutions to meet customer needs ensuring that their expressed and underlying needs are satisfied
- Understand and keep up to date on the latest technology developments and technical issues affecting your accounts
- Timeously answering incoming calls with a high standard of professionalism ensuring all calls are handled in a friendly, responsive and efficient manner
- Providing customer support with expert knowledge on product information
- Outside of own customers, provide front-line telephone support to the general base of business authorised contacts
- Providing support in various areas of business operations
- Fulfill a back-up role in the absence of a Customer Success Agent, Business Funding Specialist or Receptionist
- Assisting Credit with any other ad hoc duties which might include, meeting set-ups or soft collections

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Matric with Maths and Accounting
- Diploma or certificate in finance (desirable)
- 2+ years’ experience in an account management role within a financial contact centre/sales support environment
- Can-do attitude with a willingness to tackle any task at hand with an understanding that each task contributes in reaching our monthly targets
- Computer literate
- Must be punctual, hardworking, bubbly with good aura, ethical, innovative, mature, teachable and assertive
- Good telephone manner
- Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong administration skills
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans (desirable)
