As a lands` end business outfitters, merchandising manager for promotional products, you will execute key merchandising strategies by analyzing data, reviewing critical reporting, and reacting to data points associated with the businessYou will make decisions on key concepts, key items, promotional strategies, and product assortments that are brand right and aligned with the lands’ end customerIn addition, you will work cross-functionally with e-commerce, digital merchandising, core merchandising, finance, legal, operations and vendor management to assist in delivering marketplace strategies.
Generate reports and analyze weekly and monthly category metrics.
Coordinate and provide communication of key reportsWork with suppliers for product details, pricing, assortments, etc.
Assist in the creation of a strategic and comprehensive assortments for catalog and website while keeping a consistent message across all channels.
Review market trends and translate those into ideas for key items, profitable growth, and results.
Commitment to gain knowledge of the lands’ end business outfitters customerDiscuss research and trends with cross functional partners.
Strong understanding of product key concepts, items, promotional strategies, and product assortments with the ability to step in and provide updates and recommendations.
Skill requirements:
5+ years of merchandising experiences; experience working with a sales force and national accounts preferred; business to business and multi-channel brand experience a plusExperience in promotional 3rd party products needed.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop/transform talent, proven relationship builderStrategic thinker with a vision and ability to translate that vision into actionable goalsInstinct and passion for great product (taste level), strong product point of view.
Exceptional presentation skills and confidence, ability to able to turn data in to insight and key actionsReview market trends and translate those into ideas for key items, profitable growth, and resultsAbility to translate qualitative trend and market information into actionable and informed recommendationsDeep commitment to gain knowledge of the customer and knowledge of competitive environment.
Process oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize independently in a highly competitive and fast paced environment; manage projects from concept to completion within time constraintsDrive multi projects concurrently while influencing cross-functionally to achieve enterprise goals
