IT Support Engineer (LTG) UK, Brighton

Learning Technologies Group (LTG) is a dynamic and growing group of specialist companies working at the cutting-edge of the exciting learning technologies sector. We have an opportunity for you to join the Central IT team that is responsible for core services throughout the Group.

You will be the IT Support Engineer and part of a team responsible for the effective and efficient operational management of a varied portfolio of applications. It's a remote team of engineers based in the UK and US, working closely together, providing first-class customer service to the Group worldwide.

We are looking for a motivated, full-time IT Support Engineer who is comfortable with working independently as well as with teams, to help us deliver first-class IT support with exceptional customer service.

You will work with and be mentored by a senior member of the global IT team.

A perfect match for us involves someone who can work independently but be a part of a team located around the world. This candidate should be able to manage their own workload, speak to people at all levels of IT knowledge, be security conscious, and has experience in managing a range of computers, including from afar in other offices/countries. They should have great face-to-face communication skills, need to be able to pick up new technical tasks quickly and remain calm under pressure.

Technical requirements include:

1. experience in managing (setting up/fixing) the following operating systems:
   • Windows (up to latest version)
   • Mac OS (up to latest version)
   • Windows Server (not essential, but any experience is preferred)
   • Linux command line (not essential, but any experience is preferred)
2. having experience in mobile phone operating systems (iOS and Android)
3. having experience in:
   • Administering/Managing Google Apps (G-Suite)
   • IT Ticket Systems (such as Jira Service Desk)
   • Windows Active Directory
   • Remote Desktop Software (such as Teamviewer)
   • Onsite and Remote deployment of hardware/software
   • Jira/Confluence (not essential, but any experience is preferred)
   • Cisco phone systems (not essential, but any experience is preferred)
