Head of Quality Assurance

LATOKEN Digital Wallet is growing 35-100% per month on the multibillion money users worldwide market. We made financial account opening as easy as in Instagram. Yet, there are more people who need to manage money rather than photos. We will be bigger than the social wallet.

Role: Head of Quality Assurance

Unit: Platform

Your mission: Make sure that LATOKEN has the highest possible Quality Assurance processes, allowing the requirements from our Clients to be fully met, and the different products are working as designed.

Your Key Performance Indicators (KPI):

• Uptime, %
• API Requests success rate, %
• API tests coverage, %

Responsibilities:

• Create the cross-unit processes allowing releases to be consistent and bug-free.
• Create workshops, explain processes, ensure cross-unit communication, cross-unit pollination.
• Create acceptance testing processes, using performance- and regression testing.
• Monitor the running (pre-)releases, checking for bugs, faulty parameters and unclear processes.
• Exchange is 99.999% of time available and downtime is well planned and explained to users.
• Ensure meritocracy and growth of top talent: interview, hire, onboard, mentor, promote or fire.
• Know and explain to teammates how their stories build great product. Have a backlog vision for 3-6-60 months.
• Set alerts, monitor and report key platform metrics: downtime, latency, other performance metrics.
• Take the best which the industry has, and improve it by research and development (in API, processes, products, benchmarks, etc.).

Required skills:

- 3+ years experience in testing trading platforms.
- 2+ years leading a cross unit QA team
- Experience in designing test plans and testing scenarios for trading products.
- Solid knowledge of:
- test design principles and techniques.
- client server architecture and http protocol.
- trading terminology and processes.
- Experience in working with relational DBs and SQL querying tools.
- Experience in reading logs and investigating issues root cause.
- Ability to successfully identify key metrics for product quality.
- Customer-focused and problem-solving skills.Will be a strong plus:
- Experience as a trader in banking or finance.
- Knowledge of Git / Java core 8+ / kubernetes / rancher / Grafana dashboards
- Graduated from top university.
- Participant in regional level of olympiad competitions or other relevant QA certificates.
