About The Role
As Group Product Manager for JustAnswer’s Conversational UX, you will create a conversational interface that delights our customers and drives business impact. You are adept at leading product managers and working with cross functional teams to execute on a product vision in a high growth business. You will help drive our overall product strategy and work with senior product leadership to ensure we meet our overall business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set a conversational UX vision, strategy, and roadmap with measurable goals for PMs, engineers, and AI conversation designers.
- Facilitate ideation, development, and delivery for bold, high impact conversational products
- Directly manage a team of product managers, provide regular coaching, guidance, and feedback to ensure consistent quality across the entire group
- Drive to deliver a healthy and efficient cadence of high impact product releases
- Continually invest in the growth of the product management team
- Foster collaboration and communication between PMs and other initiatives to build a coherent, high usage conversational interface which drives measurable increases in customer LTV
- Improve testing methodologies, reducing test duration, and accelerate learning
- Streamline quarterly planning by defining and enforcing a product development process based on Lean Methodologies.
- Work closely with engineering teams to design scalable solutions.
- Spend time with end-users to understand their needs and generate insights on how to address these needs.
- Articulate, specify, and prioritize best-in-class conversation platform functionality that improves both script writer efficiency and conversation quality.
- Represent your initiative in presentations, meetings, and with customers.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of B2C product management experience working in an agile development environment focused on web and mobile
- 2-3 years of experience in leading a team of product managers
- Good understanding of NLP and chat conversation design principles
- Proven experience with conversational platforms and products that drive chatbot conversation quality.
- Self-starter with a bias toward action and a proven track record of results
- Strategic, creative, and analytic
- Know how to delight customers and how to use data to know if you did
- Experience building and scaling a product from the ground up
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, or any related field. MBA preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
