Social Media and Content Manager

Overview

That passion comes through as she/he engages with prospects and memberds on a daily basis, with the ultimate goal of: expanding the reach of the brand, turning fans into members, and turning members into brand advocates while communicating the brand in a positive, authentic way that will attract today’s modern, hyper-connected users.

The Social Media and Content Marketer is instrumental in managing the company’s content-related assets.

Responsibilities:

• Deliberate content planning, strategy and goal setting
• Creation, copywriting and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels)
• Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social media.
• Development of brand awareness and online reputation
• Content creation and management
• SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic
• Cultivation of leads
• Reputation management
• Leverage the right tools to manage content.
• Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
• Listen, respond, ask questions and engage with the audience. Develop relevant content topics to reach the target customers.
• Set the KPI’s to determine ROI (Audience Growth, Audience Profile, Audience Engagement, Content Reach, Engagement by Content Type, Leads, Response Rate and Quality, Negative Feedback) and measure results on a daily basis. Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed. Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
• Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
• Oversee design (ie: Social media graphics for Facebook cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).
• Create and manage an online review funnel for building reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review timely and with care.
• Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
• Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
• Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company. Report notable threats to management.
• Analyze campaigns and translate qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns.
• Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
• Build out high performing partnerships to become a significant driver for school`s growth.
• Present a strategic plan and roadmap with short-term and long-term initiatives contributing to strategic objectives. Make a meaningful improvement to overall school growth processes.
• Source, manage, and optimize partnership relationships to deliver against targets and represent the brand in the best possible light.
• Manage the end to end relationship with new partners including compensation, quality assessment & month-end accounting true-up.
• Responsible for and targeted on the performance of assigned affiliates/partners.
• Responsible for building and developing relationships with assigned affiliates/partners to widen cooperation.
• Define a strategy, and set up key metrics for various partnership programs (influencers and customer partnerships).
• Manage new opportunities’ research, scoping, implementation & onboarding; identify new opportunities and ideas continuously.
• Work within the team on planning, strategy, and special projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience
• Demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in social media & business development.
• Content marketing theory and application proficiency
• Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
• Excellent writing and language skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of affiliate marketing, business development, and partnership industry and tech tools.
• Extensive experience in delivering against targets with a proactive response to risks.
• Superior time management and organization skills
• Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary.
• Demonstrated winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution.
• Ability to identify potential negative or crisis situations and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
