About the Job

IllFonic is seeking a 3D Artist Intern to join our team on our next great title for PC and consoles. This role will assist the art team in a number of ways. We’re looking for someone with beginner level skills with the talent and drive to become a great artist.. This person has some knowledge of 3D modeling and texturing in either Maya or 3D Studio Max. You are proficient in Photoshop, Zbrush or other 3D software. Candidates should have a professional mindset and a students thirst for knowledge. Founded in 2007, IllFonic (IllFonic, LLC) is an independent video game developer with studios in Golden, CO; Tacoma, WA; and Austin, TX. Our staff is composed of video game, music, and technology veterans redefining how games are made and marketed. Titles and collaborations include Predator: Hunting Grounds, Friday the 13th: The Game, Dead Alliance, Star Citizen, Evolve, Armored Warfare, and Nexuiz.

Responsibilities

• Helping to model and texture High poly and Low poly models
• Work directly with Artists and leads import game ready assets into the game engine
• Maintain quality levels set by the Art team
• Assist in various areas of game art production to help assure the timely delivery of the product

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an art related degree program
• Portfolio of work demonstrating strong proficiency as a 3D Artist
• Excellent eye for quality art
• Proficient in Zbrush, Max, Maya, Substance Painter or other 3D software
• A passion for games
