Maintenance Engineer - Katunayake

Job Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance / periodic inspection and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems for smooth functioning of all systems 
• Keep all mechanical and structural drawings of company and keep them up-to-date with necessary revisions.
• Ensure all machines, equipment and systems functions/specifications are smoothly functioning and conduct periodical reviews.
• Ensure generator, lighting & electrical systems and fire systems in working order. Diagnose problems and make necessary arrangements to repair/ replace defective parts in order to ensure zero impact to operational activities.
• Ensure all maintenance related contracts are up-to-date and do amendments when required 
• Support warehouse operations to minimize downtime and improve efficiency by Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures
• Follow the QMS/HSE procedures related to Maintenance and repair function by maintaining proper documentation and records and assist audit teams to ensure HSE, compliance with ISO standards.
• Productively allocate Technicians for the maintenance works, provide resources & expertise to conduct their jobs and ensure quality of work.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and maintain records and logs of all other maintenance activities in timely. 

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven 05 years’ experience in maintenance engineering
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent command of the English language. (written and oral)
• Extensive knowledge on MS Office Package/ Auto CAD.
