SENIOR EXECUTIVE ENGINEERING
The Senior Executive Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of machinery used in the xtrusion plant and finishing plants. This position requires solid knowledge of heavy mechanical systems, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance strategies, automation and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance tasks for factory machinery to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of extruder, and finishing plant machinery and related equipment.
- Monitor and improve the performance of key machines, including extrusion presses and finishing plant machinery
- Collaborate with the production team to address mechanical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with external service providers for major repairs and machine overhauls when required.
- Ensure maintenance activities are aligned with safety and regulatory compliance standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and service history.
- Analyze recurring issues and recommend solutions to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Candidate Profile:
We seek a proactive, hands-on engineer with strong problem-solving skills, good communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in machinery maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with hydraulic machinery maintenance and electrical ,PLC trouble shooting process are an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with production and technical teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CAD, Solid work .
- Good communication skills in both Sinhala and English.
