JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive commercial activities to meet the annual sales budget.
• Follow-up on debtor recoveries ensuring set timelines are met.
• Obtain quotations from various networks to secure the best rates for jobs/tenders.
• Coordinate with Strategic Business Units (SBUs), Shared Services, Finance teams, and other stakeholders to enhance service levels for clients and agents.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with clients/agents on sales and effectively coordinate end-to-end shipments management.
• Cover pipeline customers, securing additional business from new accounts as well as ensuring client retention.
• Provide timely updates of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and share them with agents.
• Submit cost sheets to Shared Services promptly to ensure pre-alerts are sent to consignees.
• Pitch for volume business opportunities, including Free on Board (FOB) sales and minor accounts to support delivery order income.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION
• Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Courier, Air Freight/Sea Freight (LCL/FCL), and consolidation.
• A team player who is task driven.
• Ability to adapt to market and organizational changes.
• Strong effective communication and presentation skills.
