Retail Sales Specialist - Mount Lavinia
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accepting packages from walk-in-customers by properly checking on the possibility to deliver, possible rates and giving commitment to deliver by updating the FSM (FedEx Ship Manager) to facilitate customer requirements as needed
- Arranging cash pickups under customer request, by properly arranging pickups by contacting customer service and updating them accordingly to ensure customer requirements are properly addressed
- Balancing daily cash sales with the finance team as per the instructions given to ensure the timely cash settlements
- RPI pickup arrange thru the RPI team, inform tracking no. follow up till delivery under cash basis
- Automating each cash AWB through FSM (FedEx ship manager) supporting to achieve the country automation target
- Keeping ROC customers updated on any delays through proper follow up to ensure all customers are provided with timely information
- Deliver inbound packages or detained documents under the credit control team supervision
- Maintaining a manual files for arranged AWBs, daily packages details, POD same maintaining an excel sheet of monthly export/import cash sale details
- Replying to Internal & External General E-mails which are coming to ROC promptly to ensure all ROC customer inquiries are properly addressed
- Managing the FedEx branding and maintaining the retail outlet directly coordinating with the marketing & the admin departments
- Contributing to the achievement of monthly Sales revenue Target through proper follow up with customers to meet the given cash sales targets
- Performing additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- A minimum of 3 passes at G. C. E. A/L
- A minimum of 6 credits at the GCE O/L examination including English & Mathematics.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity would be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Sinhala (Written & Spoken)/ Tamil would be an added advantage
- Demonstrable interpersonal skills.
- Fair knowledge in Microsoft Packages
