Job Summary: 

Responsible for Aluminium Metallurgy (In depth focus on Aluminium metal behavior and its structure-property relationship) throughout the production process while ensuring the quality of the in-house developed Aluminium billet and extrusions to optimize the mechanical, chemical & physical property levels, in more technical and research oriented way by utilizing analytical capabilities. 

Responsible for seamless coordination with the production & quality teams, providing solutions for the materials related issues, ensuring the accuracy with technical explanations, generating periodic reports, sharing and communicating with relevant stakeholders, implementing improvements in the metallurgy sections, and driving innovation in line with the company’s development goals, while strictly adhering to quality standards. Additionally, responsible for managing specific laboratory activities as required, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and research-driven approaches to further enhance production efficiency and quality outcomes.

The suitable candidate should possess,

• BSc.in Engineering, specialized in Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical & Process Engineering or B Sc. in Materials Technology, BSc. In Materials Science or equivalent diploma in Materials science.
• Fresh graduate or working professionals having minimum 1 year experience. 
• Capable of using Optical microscope, familiar with Scanning Electron Microscope-SEM and other analytic instruments (Tensile tester, XRD, Spectrometers, etc)
• Familiar with general laboratory operations.
• Self-motivation and work under low or no supervision.
• Data driven technical decision making.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Any other qualifications in management skills will be an added advantage.
