Manager - Project and Facility Management
The incumbent of this position need to design, develop and drive the concurrent constructions projects and facility management activities towards a successful completion within given time lines and budget approvals.
The main job functions of this position will include:
- Develop comprehensive project / facility development plans / drawings / BOQs as per the expansion plans of the company
- Liase with Consultants, Architectures, Structural Engineers, regulatory bodies etc. at different stages of the projects
- Ensure the compliance to statutory and Local Government regulations in all designs / drawings / BOQs
- Prepare project proposals and discuss and finalize such proposals with internal and external parties
- Call quotations from local and international parties and submit quotation evaluations for management approval
- Drive project deliverables within budgetary and time targets and as per the project specifications
- Drive ongoing projects / facility development initiatives and give periodic updates to management
- Check and verify payments relating to projects / facility development activities
- Maintain premises and facility management activities of the company up to date and full functional levels
We seek a dedicated, result oriented young individual with good design engineering capabilities, communication skills and sound personal attributes for the aforementioned position.
The suitable candidate should possess:
- B.Sc. Civil Engineering or HND or equivalent qualification in civil engineering / facility management
- 10 years hands on experience in handling civil projects and facility management activities
- Experience in handling MEP activities will be an advantage
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
- Proficiency in both Sinhala and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Auto Cad
