Job Responsibilities
- Liaise with Overseas/Local suppliers and arrange the shipments/ deliveries on time
- Negotiate freight rates, courier rates as well as clearance/forwarding rates in line with market rates
- Sign/Renewal of agreements with shipping lines and Freight forwarding parties
- Timely purchase of general items & handle purchasing process of uniforms.
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role as and when requested by management
Person’s Profile
- Bachelors’ degree in Science/Finance/Supply chain/ Engineering from a recognized University
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 1 year experience in Supply chain/Logistics would be an added advantage.
- Good command in MS Office packages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-directed environments
