JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Drive business excellence maturity in organisations by training, coaching and mentoring potential individuals on tools and techniques to improve businesses in a sustainable manner.
- Coordinate to effectively share knowledge on tools, techniques and quality principals.
- Assess the candidate’s knowledge and ability through assessments and application.
- Guide & mentor to achieve the objectives.
- Perform Business Excellence Maturity Assessments, to ensure ICE Framework measures are in place and monitored sustainably in the Business Units by carrying out following activities.
- Driving Implementation of the measures.
- Ensure sustainable and accurate monitoring through valid processes and technology.
- Assist in setting targets and drive continuous improvement.
- Perform as a change management agent while carrying out cost/benefit trade-off analysis, develop ROI business cases and smooth implementation for recommended projects involving process by carrying out following activities.
- Use analytical methods and tools to understand, analyze, predict, improve and/or control logistic operations and processes.
- Forecast client behavior with respect to their logistics approach and trigger the management on strategic planning.
- Present these results/suggestions/justifications to the internal/external client.
- Convince the team of the benefits of the outcome and guide them to execute the change.
- Understand external/internal customer requirements and formulate logistic solutions.
- Review the existing operation with internal & external clients.
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- BSc degree with course content to support Management/Statistics/Information Analysis/Operation Research/Process Re-engineering.
- 1-3 years relevant experience in a similar role
- Certification/qualifications in an added field (e.g. IT/CIMA/Lean/Six-Sigma/automation) or experience would be an added advantage
- Strong Analytical & Project Management skill
- Strong communication, coordination & presentation skills with fluency in Sinhala & English
