Assistant Manager - Production Planning

We are seeking for a dynamic and results-driven individual to drive production-planning operations in our manufacturing facilities. This role is pivotal in identifying opportunities for plant optimization, on time delivery of orders and efficient product flow among different stages of production process through implementing planning tools and best production planning practices. As an Assistant Manager - Production Planning, you will play a crucial role for ensuring the smooth execution of production processes. The main job functions of this position will include,

• Develop and share production plans for each of the manufacturing plants to achieve planned delivery dates and optimum plant utilization
• Regular review of product realizations against the released production plans and regularly update the interested parties on the progress
• Advice the management on possible / concurrent capacity issues and product realization issues and take appropriate actions to optimize teh available plant capacities
• Develop contingency plans to catch up back logs 
• Maintain regular relationships with Sales and Marketing including International Marketing, Logistics and Production teams
• Regularly release progress reports on planning, scheduling and product realizations

The suitable candidate should possess,

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Operations Management, Business Analytics or any other field related to manufacturing. 
• Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on production planning
• Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in manufacturing performance, productive planning & timely deliveries. 
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results on time. 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
