Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the consistent quality of food products, surpassing standards and expectations, while also aligning with Sri Lankan food regulations.
- Continuously monitor products to proactively identify and address potential quality deviations.
- Conduct root cause analyses for any emerging product issues and implement solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Verify product labeling for compliance with food regulations.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Degree in a food-related field or Food Quality Management is preferred.
- Prior experience in food quality assurance, especially in the spices sector, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with quality assurance protocols tailored to food products, especially spices, ensuring adherence to industry-specific standards and requirements.
- Possesses an analytical mindset with a proven track record in identifying issues, conducting thorough research, analyzing data, and implementing effective solutions to address challenges.
- Knowledge of Sri Lankan food regulations.
- Familiarity with Sri Lanka Standards (SLS) related to food, demonstrating an understanding of local regulatory requirements and compliance measures.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
