(Senior) Knowledge Manager / Wissens- und Prozessmanager (m/w/d) Digital Medical Content

Our Medical Content Team researches, implements and configures digital medical questionnaires and documentation under standardised specifications, but also completely individually according to customer needs. 

As (Senior) Knowledge Manager / Wissens- und Prozessmanager (m/w/d) Digital Medical Content, you will own and lead digital medical content production to operational success. 

This is a newly created role and the successful candidate has strong expertise in process optimisation, project management as well as content and knowledge management. Ideally you have gained practical experience in healthcare IT/ MedTech/ Saas Business. Managing and challenging workflows as well as content management are part of your daily working experience. 

Project Management 

• Prepare and execute scaling of digital content production 

• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility

• Drive continuous improvement on the further development of content production and management methodologies used for the medical content area 

• Coordination of internal resources and cross-team sparring partners for seamless execution of projects

• Identification of product- or customer-specific requirements in consultation with the Medical Affairs, Product Development and Customer Relations department

• Development of internal reporting structures especially regarding project status and scaling 

• Ensure compliance with existing quality management  and MDR requirements

Process Management & Performance

• Oversee daily operations of the Medical Content Team with the goal of maximum stability, scalability and performance 

• Design and implement content strategies, workflow digitization guidelines and procedures and translate strategy into actionable goals by implementing team-wide goal setting for process optimization and project outcomes (OKRs, KPIs)

• Develop, plan, initiate and implement standardized internal processes (definition of standard work packages, benchmarks, templates, tools, etc.)

• Provide experience-based input on the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of project management activities from project design, content management, learning and knowledge development activities

Knowledge Management 

• Part of the effective flow of communication and documentation within the Medical Content team

• Provide experience-based input in implementation strategy and processes

• Consult on strategies for content structure, change traceability and information discovery

• At least 5 years experience with  project management 

• Excellent communicator with an ability to inspire and motivate the team and customers to generate amazing results with an hands-on approach

• Entrepreneurial, resilient and strategic mindset that anticipates potential bottlenecks to create optimised process solutions

• Ability to operate in a constantly evolving environment

• Good understanding of software / SaaS business (ideally in healthcare)

Nice to have

• A degree in natural sciences or medical technology or training in the field of healthcare 

• Regulatory affairs and/or clinical affairs experience in the medical device industry is a plus

• Experience with lean methods such as Kanban
