Company overview

As a software engineer on the Care Platform team, you will collaborate closely with fellow engineers, product managers, and designers. You’ll work to conceive, design, build, and operate new tools and systems to expand the range and depth of our clinical services.

Our teams work across a range of platforms and languages, including Python & Django, Ruby, Javascript & Typescript, Apex, and Go. You’ll have the opportunity to work on cross-team efforts, learn from and mentor your team members and build personal and team best practices.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain system integrations to connect Clinical Systems to the rest of the Included Health platform
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering colleagues to identify opportunities and address them with sustainable, usable, secure, high-performance solutions
Plan, estimate, track, and document projects from conception through completion
Mentor and assist other engineers throughout the SDLC

Minimum Qualifications:

4+ years of full stack development experience, from database schema design to API development to user interface development
Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable web services using web frameworks in Python, Ruby, or Go
Experience designing, building, and maintaining complex user interfaces using single page application (SPA) frameworks like Vue, React, or Angular
Experience working on agile teams through the full development lifecycle
Experience and desire to work with a broad range of colleagues
Analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Passion to improve healthcare with technology

Preferred Qualifications:

Python, Django, and Celery
Javascript, Vue, React, and/or Angular
AWS, Docker, Sentry
Experience working on healthcare products
