Seko logistics, an industry leader in supply chain management, is seeking to fill an experienced warehouse associate position at its liverpool, ny locationThe successful candidate for this role is a reliable customer focused team player, with excellent attendance, and capable of consistently managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment to ensure we are providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction at all times.
As a warehouse associate, a successful candidate will possess the ability to properly receive and process incoming inventory, accurately fulfill customer orders on outgoing inventory, and maintain a neat and orderly warehouseSpecific duties include, but are not limited to:
Safely load and unload product in box truck or trailer manually or with motorized lifts, including forklift and pallet jacks, and overhead crane
Maintain accurate warehouse inventories, and perform required cycle counts
Complete daily safety inspections on equipment
Organize and maintain a clean warehouse, placing product in temporary storage and/or account specific designated areas
Comply with federal and company safety standards, policies, and regulations
Work flexible hours as needed, including early morning (6:00 a.mStart times), evenings, and possible weekends
Previous warehouse and cross docking experience, including utilization of motorized lifts and cranes
High school diploma/ged
Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Able to regularly and consistently lift and carry 70+ pounds
Able to work independently on a daily basis with minimal supervision
Previous third party logistics (3pl)
Class b commercial driver license and acceptable motor vehicle record (mvr)
